Lent Events

Lent Course at Central Hall:

From Now on: A lent course on hope and redemption in ‘The Greatest Showman’ At Central Hall Methodist Church, Friday mornings at 10.30am on the following dates: March 22nd and 29th, April 5th and 12th 2019.

There is some reading to do before the course starts, so if you intend coming, please contact Rachel Wood on 628723 (

Please note the greatest showman is a PG film

Lent Study Series at Pleck and Bentley

Journey through lent with BBC television series Broken. Follow Michael Kerrigan, a Roman Catholic Priest, as he attempts to guide his parishioners through a succession of challenging circumstances while also dealing with his own troubles.

.Courageous Conversations on Marriage and Relationships

With Deacon Eunice Attwood and Rev’d Jonathon Dean held on Sunday 16th March at Darlaston Methodist Church, 1:30-5pm and Sunday 12th May at Ludlow Methodist Church from 3 – 7pm.

A space welcome to people holding different perspectives where we can open the Bible together; look back over what the Church has said and done regarding Marriage & Relationships; consider what it means for us to be a people living with contradictory convictions and prepare for further conversations in 2019/20.

Courageous Conversation with Jill Baker

Left foot, Right foot . . . . Finding Courage in the Pilgrimage of Life

Sunday 24th March at Albrighton Methodist Church, 3-7pm.

To include refreshments, conversation, shared buffet meal (please bring a modest contribution of food) and reflective worship led by Rosie Bryant, Local Preacher in the Wolverhampton Circuit. All welcome, no need to book . . . just turn up.

Throughout March, we are running our "Take-Away"…Hunger campaign.

We are looking for people who are willing to give up a take-away or meal out, replace it with a meal made from food bank ingredients and donate the difference to our food bank.

Films at Central Hall
Central Hall continues with its popular programme of films during 2019.   The following dates have now been set :-

Saturday 27 April

Saturday 22 June

Saturday 17 August       Something suitable for children

Saturday 16 November

Possible films include Kinky Boots, The History Boys and A Private Function.  Ring Christine Gregory on 01922 721643 about a week in advance to check what is showing on a particular date.   

All start at 3.00 pm and all cost £2 per person, no advance booking necessary.  Refreshments and drinks are also on sale during the interval.    Everyone welcome.
